New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address students, parents and teachers in the next edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha in 2026, continuing the government’s annual outreach focused on examinations, learning pressure and well-being.
The interactive programme is scheduled to be held in New Delhi and will be broadcast live across multiple platforms, including Doordarshan, radio channels and official digital handles of the Ministry of Education and the Prime Minister’s Office. Students from across the country, along with parents and teachers, can watch the event in real time.
Pariksha Pe Charcha has, over the years, become a national forum where the Prime Minister responds to questions on exam stress, preparation strategies, mental health and the broader approach to education. The format encourages direct engagement, with questions curated from submissions by students and educators nationwide.
Registrations and question submissions for the 2026 edition are currently open through designated government portals. Schools have also been encouraged to facilitate group viewing sessions so that students can collectively participate in the conversation.
The initiative aims to shift the focus of examinations away from anxiety and towards learning, curiosity and confidence, reinforcing the message that exams are a part of life, not the whole of it.
