Delhi Private Schools to Publish First Nursery Admission List for 2026-27 Today, Here is How to Check

Private unaided schools in Delhi will release the first nursery admission list for the academic session 2026-27 on January 23, 2026. The list will include the names of around 125,000 children who applied for entry-level classes including Nursery, Kindergarten (KG) and Class 1. Both confirmed admissions and waiting list entries will be part of this first publication.

Parents and guardians can view and download the admission lists from the official websites of the schools where they applied or check the notice boards at the respective schools. Each school is responsible for uploading its admission list independently, so parents should monitor the sites of the institutions they selected in the application process.

The nursery admission process in Delhi followed a points-based system as per the Directorate of Education guidelines. Points are assigned on criteria such as proximity of the residence to the school, whether a sibling is already enrolled at the same school, parent alumni status and other factors approved by the DoE. Higher points improve a child’s chances of selection.

This first list marks a key step in a competitive admission season. Parents whose children are not in this round may still have opportunities in later lists based on seat availability and withdrawals.
