UP Super TET 2026: Applications Open for 12,405 Assistant Teacher Posts, Check Dates and Eligibility

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has opened applications for the UP Super TET 2026 recruitment, inviting eligible candidates to apply for 12,405 Assistant Teacher posts across the state. The recruitment notification was issued on September 15, 2026, while the online application process began on September 16.

The recruitment covers Assistant Teacher positions in urban primary schools under the Basic Education Department as well as Assistant Teacher posts attached to primary schools in non-government aided institutions. Of the total 12,405 vacancies, 11,508 posts are for Assistant Teacher, Primary, Urban positions under the Basic Education Department.

The remaining 897 posts are Assistant Teacher positions attached to primary schools in aided institutions. These include 473 vacancies in boys’ schools and 424 vacancies in girls’ schools.
