Rajasthan Releases RTE Admission Lottery Results for 2026

The Rajasthan government has announced the lottery results for admissions under the Right to Education Act for the academic session 2026. The process determines the allocation of seats for children from economically weaker sections in private schools across the state.

According to officials in the state education department, more than 6.3 lakh applications were received this year from parents seeking admission for their children under the quota mandated by the Right to Education Act. The lottery system is used to ensure transparency and fairness in the allocation of seats.

Parents can now check the results through the official portal of the state’s RTE admission system. Those whose children have been allotted seats will be required to complete the next stage of the process, which includes document verification and confirmation of admission within the prescribed timeline.

Education authorities said that district-level officials will supervise the verification process to ensure that the benefits of the scheme reach eligible families. Schools participating in the programme have also been instructed to cooperate with the verification procedures.

The Right to Education Act requires private schools to reserve 25 per cent of seats at the entry level for children belonging to economically weaker sections and disadvantaged groups. The government reimburses schools for the cost of education under this provision.

Officials stated that the scheme has helped thousands of students from low-income families gain access to private school education each year. The latest round of admissions is expected to continue that trend, with students set to begin classes in the upcoming academic session once the admission formalities are completed.
