The West Bengal Central School Service Commission has announced the schedule for document verification and interviews for candidates shortlisted under the Second State Level Selection Test for recruitment of teachers in Classes 9 to 12.
According to the commission, candidates who cleared the earlier stages of the recruitment process will now be required to appear for document verification followed by interviews. The process will determine final appointments to teaching posts in government aided secondary and higher secondary schools across the state.
The commission has advised shortlisted candidates to check the official website for details regarding the date, venue and reporting time for the verification process. Applicants will have to carry original academic certificates, identity documents and other required records for verification.
Officials said only those candidates whose documents are successfully verified will be allowed to appear for the interview stage. The commission will prepare the final merit list after the completion of interviews and verification.
The recruitment drive is part of the state’s effort to fill vacant teaching positions in secondary and higher secondary schools and strengthen staffing in government aided institutions. Candidates have been advised to regularly check official updates to avoid missing important instructions related to the selection process.
