The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has announced the schedule for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test, UPTET 2025, setting May 17 as the examination date. The results will be declared on June 20.
According to the notification issued by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission, the examination will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift, for candidates appearing for the primary level, will be held from 10 am to 12.30 pm. The second shift, meant for the upper primary level, will take place from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
The commission stated that detailed guidelines related to admit cards, examination centres, and instructions for candidates will be released separately on the official website. Admit cards are expected to be made available a few days before the examination.
UPTET is a mandatory qualifying examination for candidates seeking teaching positions in government and aided schools across Uttar Pradesh. Lakhs of aspirants are expected to appear for the test, which assesses eligibility for teaching classes I to VIII.
