The Noida Authority has approved the allocation of land for the construction of two new government schools in the rapidly developing Sector 151–154 region. This decision comes amid rising population density and increasing demand for accessible, high-quality education facilities in the area.
According to officials, each school will be built on multi-acre plots and designed with modern infrastructure, including smart classrooms, science and computer labs, libraries, playgrounds, and dedicated spaces for vocational training. The Authority plans to integrate sustainable features such as solar panels, rainwater harvesting systems, and energy-efficient lighting to align with green building norms.
The new schools aim to reduce the burden on nearby institutions, many of which are currently operating at full capacity. Residents of the adjoining sectors, especially families living in newly developed housing societies, have welcomed the move, stating that the lack of government schools has been a long-standing concern.
Construction is expected to begin early next year, following the finalization of architectural plans and budget approvals. The education department will collaborate with the Authority to ensure the schools are equipped with qualified staff and essential teaching resources.
With the fast-paced urban expansion in Noida’s outskirts, officials believe these new institutions will significantly improve educational access for thousands of students in the coming years. Further details on timelines and project budgets are expected to be released soon.
