NEET UG 2026 registration deadline extended till March 11, NTA gives aspirants additional time

The National Testing Agency has extended the last date to apply for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate 2026, offering aspirants an additional window to complete their registration. Candidates can now submit their applications for NEET UG 2026 until March 11 through the official portal, neet.nta.nic.in.

The extension comes after the earlier deadline of March 8, a move that is expected to benefit thousands of students who were yet to complete their application process. NEET UG remains the single entrance examination for admission to undergraduate medical courses including MBBS and other allied programmes across the country.

Officials said that once the registration window closes, the agency will open a correction facility for candidates. This stage will allow applicants to review and edit specific details in their submitted forms.

Candidates are advised to verify the information carefully during the correction period as the details entered in the application form will be used for further stages of the admission process.

The NEET examination is conducted annually for admission to medical colleges across India and continues to attract one of the largest pools of applicants among national level entrance tests.
