NCERT Recruitment 2026: Application Window for 117 Academic Posts Closes Today

The application process for the National Council of Educational Research and Training recruitment drive concluded on March 6, marking the final day for candidates to submit applications for a total of 117 academic positions.

The recruitment exercise was announced to fill multiple academic and research-related posts within the organisation. Candidates were required to complete the online application process through the official portal before the deadline set for 5 pm on March 6.

According to the notification issued earlier, applicants had to provide the required academic credentials, professional details and supporting documents while submitting their forms. Only applications completed within the stipulated time frame and accompanied by the prescribed fee were to be considered valid.

The recruitment is part of NCERT’s ongoing effort to strengthen its academic and research capacity. The institution plays a key role in developing school curricula, textbooks and pedagogical frameworks used across the country.

With the application window now closed, the recruitment process will move to the next stage, which includes scrutiny of applications and further selection procedures as outlined in the official notification.
