NBEMS releases exam schedule for NEET PG, NEET MDS 2026

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences on Thursday released the examination calendar for the NEET PG and NEET MDS 2026 sessions, outlining key dates for medical and dental postgraduate aspirants.

As per the schedule, NEET PG 2026 will be conducted on June 21, 2026, while NEET MDS 2026 is slated for January 31, 2026. The board stated that both examinations will be held in computer-based test mode at designated centres across the country.

The internship completion cut-off date for candidates appearing in NEET PG 2026 has been fixed as August 15, 2026. For NEET MDS 2026, candidates must complete their compulsory rotatory internship by December 31, 2026, to be eligible.

NBEMS also informed that detailed information regarding the release of information bulletins, application windows, admit cards, exam cities, and result timelines will be notified separately on its official website. Candidates have been advised to regularly check official updates and ensure compliance with eligibility conditions mentioned in the respective information bulletins.

The board clarified that the examination dates are tentative and subject to change in case of unforeseen circumstances. Any revisions, if required, will be communicated through official notices.
