The Indian Navy has invited applications for 102 vacancies under the BTech Cadet Entry Scheme, offering young aspirants a pathway to join the service as commissioned officers after completing a four year engineering programme.
The entry is open for candidates seeking admission to the BTech course at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala. On successful completion of training, candidates will be granted a Permanent Commission in the Executive and Technical branches of the Navy.
As per the notification, applicants must be unmarried and meet the prescribed age criteria mentioned in the official schedule. Eligibility is based on performance in the JEE Main examination, which will be used to shortlist candidates for the next stage of selection.
The selection process will involve shortlisting based on JEE Main ranks, followed by Services Selection Board interviews. Candidates recommended by the SSB will then undergo a medical examination before final merit lists are prepared.
Those selected will undergo rigorous academic and naval training, combining engineering education with military instruction. During the training period, candidates will be entitled to stipends and other benefits as applicable under naval regulations.
Applications must be submitted through the official recruitment portal within the stipulated deadline. Candidates are advised to carefully read the detailed instructions regarding eligibility conditions, educational qualifications, and branch wise vacancy distribution before applying.
This recruitment drive is part of the Navy’s ongoing effort to attract technically qualified youth and strengthen its officer cadre through early career induction at the undergraduate level.
