IIT Bombay Opens Applications for MBA Class of 2026

Mumbai. Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has opened applications for admission to its Master of Business Administration programme for the 2026 intake, with registrations now live on the institute’s official website.

The application window will remain open until January 31, 2026. Applicants must complete the fee payment by February 1. Personal interviews for shortlisted candidates are scheduled to be held between March 5 and March 8, according to information released by the institute.

Admission to the programme is open to candidates who have appeared for the Common Admission Test 2025, conducted annually by the Indian Institutes of Management. Only CAT qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the selection process.

Shortlisting for interviews will be based on a composite score derived from CAT performance and other criteria set by the institute. Following the declaration of CAT 2025 results, eligible candidates are required to submit a separate online application through IIT Bombay’s admissions portal.

The final selection will be determined after the personal interview stage, with the institute assessing academic background, test performance, and interview outcomes as part of its evaluation framework.
