CUET PG 2026 Registration Window Extended, Deadline Now January 20

The National Testing Agency has revised the schedule for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate admissions in 2026. Registration for CUET PG, which began on December 14, 2025, was originally scheduled to close on January 14, 2026. The agency has now extended the application deadline to January 20, 2026 to allow candidates additional time to complete their applications.

Prospective candidates must log on to the official portal at exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg and complete the registration process before 11:50 PM on the revised last date. This extension applies to both submission of the application form and payment of the requisite fee.

The advisory from NTA confirms that once the portal closes on January 20, no further registrations will be accepted. Applicants who have already submitted their forms should ensure details are correct, as the agency is expected to open a correction window from January 22 to January 24, 2026, for amendments.

Candidates are advised to use this extended period to verify eligibility criteria, upload required documents, and complete all steps of the online application process well before the deadline to avoid technical delays or last-minute issues.
