The extended registration window for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate programmes, CUET PG 2026, will close today, according to the National Testing Agency. Candidates who have not yet applied must complete the online application process by visiting the official website, exams.nta.nic.in, within the stipulated deadline.
The extension was announced to provide additional time to aspirants seeking admission to postgraduate courses offered by central, state, deemed, and private universities across the country. The examination serves as a single entry point for PG admissions to participating institutions for the academic session 2026 to 27.
Applicants are required to register, fill in personal and academic details, upload prescribed documents, and pay the examination fee online. The application will be considered complete only after successful fee payment. Candidates are advised to carefully verify all entries before final submission, as corrections may be allowed only during a limited edit window, if announced later.
The National Testing Agency has advised candidates to avoid last-minute rush due to possible technical issues. Details related to the examination schedule, admit cards, and city intimation slips will be released on the official portal in due course.
