The Class 12 Geography board examination scheduled for February 2026 has renewed focus on student preparation strategies. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has made available a structured, no-cost online Geography course on the government’s SWAYAM platform to support students in strengthening subject knowledge and exam readiness.
The course follows the full Class 12 Geography syllabus with modules designed to reinforce key concepts and help learners build clarity on both physical and human geography. In addition to video lectures, it offers self-assessment exercises that encourage routine practice, a critical component of board exam success.
Designed to supplement regular classroom study, the SWAYAM course allows students to pace their revision, revisit challenging topics, and align their preparation with the board curriculum. Educators suggest that engagement with the online modules can help build confidence ahead of the examination window.
Students who have not yet enrolled can access the course on the SWAYAM portal, with enrolment open until February 20, 2026, and final assessments scheduled in early March 2026. The initiative aims to broaden access to quality instructional resources, particularly for learners seeking targeted support in a key board subject.
