CBSE to hold Class 12 board examinations for key subjects this week

The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the Class 12 board examinations for several major subjects this week as the ongoing board exam schedule continues across the country. Lakhs of students from affiliated schools are appearing for the examinations at centres designated by the board.

According to the schedule released earlier by CBSE, the examinations are being conducted in a single shift beginning at 10.30 am. Schools and examination centres have been instructed to ensure that students reach the venue well before the reporting time to complete the verification process.

The board has advised candidates to carry their admit cards and school identity cards to the examination centre. Students have also been reminded to follow the examination guidelines regarding permitted stationery and reporting procedures.

School authorities have been directed to maintain strict invigilation protocols to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations. The board has also reiterated that unfair means or violation of examination rules will invite disciplinary action.

The Class 12 board examinations are scheduled to continue through March, with subject wise exams being conducted on different dates as per the timetable released earlier by the board.
