Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has formally commenced its undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) admissions cycle for the 2026–27 academic session, with the application process opening from 1 February. The central university’s intake spans a wide spectrum of courses and academic disciplines, signalling the start of one of the country’s closely watched admission exercises.
The announcement sets in motion admissions to programmes across faculties, reflecting AMU’s multidisciplinary academic structure that includes the humanities, social sciences, sciences, commerce, law, engineering and professional streams.
