The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education has announced the results for Classes 5 and 8, making them available through the Shala Darpan portal on March 24. The declaration brings closure to the evaluation process for lakhs of students across the state’s elementary education system.
Students and parents can access the scorecards online using login credentials provided by their respective schools. Authorities have also directed schools to assist families who may face difficulties in accessing digital platforms, particularly in remote regions.
The assessments for Classes 5 and 8 are part of the state’s effort to monitor foundational learning outcomes at the elementary level. While these examinations do not determine board certification in the conventional sense, they are treated as important indicators of academic progress and readiness for the next stage of schooling.
Education officials noted that the timely release aligns with the broader objective of maintaining a consistent academic calendar. Guidelines regarding rechecking of answer sheets and any remedial support measures are expected to follow from the board in the coming days.
