Chandigarh reported that the Haryana government has intensified preparations for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations, with the Chief Minister leading a high-level review to ensure that the conduct of these crucial tests is transparent and free of malpractice. Officials said the meeting involved senior district administrators, police officers and education authorities to finalise arrangements ahead of the exams.
The review, chaired by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, focused on security measures and logistical preparedness at examination centres spread across the state. Authorities were instructed to deploy adequate personnel and conduct frequent inspections to deter irregularities and uphold the integrity of the process.
Education officials at the meeting underscored the need for collective coordination between administrative, police and local bodies to maintain order throughout the examination period. District officials were urged to involve community representatives in supporting smooth conduct at the grassroots level.
Parallel to these directives, reports from exam centres indicate that authorities have mobilised flying squads and surprise inspection teams to monitor compliance with examination rules. These teams are tasked with ensuring basic facilities are in place and that strict controls are maintained at all centres.
The state’s proactive stance comes as thousands of students across Haryana begin their board exams this week, marking a pivotal moment in their academic careers and heightening expectations for a fair and orderly test environment.
