In a move aimed at widening access to quality test preparation, the Union government has partnered with select edtech platforms to provide free online coaching for aspirants of major competitive examinations, including JEE, UPSC, NEET and other national-level tests.
The initiative is designed to support students from economically weaker sections who often lack access to structured coaching facilities. Under the programme, enrolled candidates will receive comprehensive digital learning support, including recorded lectures, live classes, doubt-clearing sessions, practice tests and performance tracking tools, at no cost.
Officials said the collaboration focuses on reducing financial barriers while ensuring uniform academic support across regions. The content will be aligned with the latest exam patterns and syllabi, allowing students to prepare in a structured manner without relocating or bearing high coaching fees.
The free coaching modules will be delivered entirely online, making them accessible to students in remote and rural areas. Registration details, eligibility criteria and platform-specific guidelines are expected to be released soon.
The government views the initiative as part of its broader effort to promote equitable education opportunities and strengthen exam preparedness among talented students regardless of socio-economic background.
